Vinitaly Team: every year on the Italian wine fair in Verona our group of small family estates can bring you a very nice representation of the the diverse sub-climates and wine types of South Tyrol. From Mediterranean Ripeness to South Alpine Freshness.
In the picture below to the right of Thomas:
Andreas – Stroblhof in Eppan/Appiano: Pinots of excellence (Pinot Noir, Pinot Blanc);
Peter – Taschlerhof in Mahr/Brixen/Bressanone: mineralic whites like Sylvaner and Riesling;
Hannes – Strasserhof in Neustift/Novacella: full whites like Gewürztraminer and Kerner;
St. Magdalener Neighbors: Since generations the resident winegrowers have defined together the most classico wine hamlet in our area. Right around us you find vintners producing the local native wines on a little family wine estate just like we do:
Georg and Florian – Untermoserhof
Stephan and Martin – Fliederhof
Martin and Hannes – Kandlerhof
Franz and Florian – Glögglhof
Independent Winegrowers: We are founding members of the South Tyrolean Vintner Association 1999 and all colleagues listed above are also members. The intense activity of this passionate group and 2008 foundation of Federazione Italiana Vignaioli Indipendenti (FIVI – Italian Federation of Independent Winegrowers) has led to many inter-regional contacts and friendships, especially with the Vignaioli del Trentino, our neighbors in the South.
